Colony Ridge Development LLC is seeking a Survey Technician to join our Land Development team in our New Caney, TX office. Colony Ridge has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals, dedicated to providing high-level professional services for all phases of our developments. We are currently developing and building a large community in Liberty County requiring professional services in such categories as residential land development, commercial and industrial land development, streets and other public works projects, parks, schools, regional survey control, and other items necessary to develop and build a large city/community.

Job Description:
The Survey Technician will assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, field work and computing survey points.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, and computing survey points
- Perform field work and crew management.
- Processing of raw field data through Civil 3D
- Ability to utilize survey field equipment.
- Perform QA/QC checks
- Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff
- Lead by example – display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
Preferred Experience:
- An Associate Degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of study
- SIT Certification
- Land Development, both Commercial and Residential, and Public Infrastructure Projects
- Coordinating activities with office personnel, including surveying technicians and engineering staff
- Experience searching for/recovering Public Land Survey System monuments
- Processing and drafting utilizing LiDAR point clouds and imagery
- TBC Scanning Module preferred
- Ability to utilize survey field equipment is preferred.
- FAA Part 107 UAS License
- Construction staking experience
- Strong Organizational skills
- Self-Motivated
